I have been sharpening for over 30 years now and learned this craft from my grandfather and father. I have had the opportunities to study European, Asian, and American ways of sharpening over the years with master craftsman and with this knowledge can sharpen a variety of tools and understand how they were designed to work. I also was raised on a farm and have groomed/sheared a variety of animals and have a broad range of experience of how clippers should work on various animals or people. These skills have become very valuable over the years as tools have changed and newer ways have to be developed to sharpen them as good or better than factory. I don't makes claims as being the only sharpener that can do you tools or other far fetched claims. My work and personal service are my selling points and I don't believe in putting down others, lying to get ahead, or claiming to be something I am not to get your business. I still do business the way my grandfather did with honesty and integrity.
I used to sharpen anything that had an edge but now have concentrated on sharpening the following items: Scissors/shears and clipper blades (Barber, Stylist, Groomer), most lawn and garden tools ( chain saws, axes, shovels, hedge clippers, etc) and Knives, and Clipper Repair. I also do training for customers on care of their equipment and if you have a large shop or school that you would like me to do a class at please see the contact section for my number and address..
If you are missing that old time friendly customer service and someone that really cares about your equipment as if it were their own, then contact me. All sharpening is done by me personally so if there is a problem the buck stops with me. I stand behind my work and if there is a problem I will do everything possible to correct it for you.
I am constantly updating my sharpening skills as new technology comes out so I can always be "on the cutting edge" of the new technology. Products are changing so rapidly now that it is hard to keep up with everything, but by going to conventions and staying in contact with manufacturers it makes this task easier.
If you have any questions please contact me by email or phone at the contact info section.

Shipping Information
The mail-in service requires that you pack your equipment with care to reduce breakage. Your contact information must be inside the box and a inventory sheet incase we find damage during our initial inventory as we open your box. There is a form you can print off that has all the info needed for shipping your items located at the bottom of this page.
Payment can be made several ways. 1. A check made out to Love's Sharpening with the amount blank can accompany the box. 2. Credit Card information can be inside the box, or called in prior or afterwards if its not already on file with your Blade Guy. 3. Mail a check or money order out after you receive your box back.
If your shipment is heavy, try to use a "Flat Rate" box from the Post Office. The box is FREE and the postage is $8.95 to anywhere in the United States.
YOU PAY RETURN SHIPPING. The Blade Guyz ship Priority Mail / Confirmation Delivery through the US Postal Service exclusively. If you want us to ship your box back a different way, make sure the instructions for this is clearly written inside the box unless something was pre-arranged. If you want insurance for the return of your stuff, put this in writing inside the box unless it was pre-arranged. The Blade Guys do not automatically add insurance to any shipment, nor automatically ship back to you the same way you shipped to us.
I recommend using a box to send your blades, scissors, clippers, etc. I have seen too many envelopes get torn in shipment or just thrown in a bin and this could damage your precious tools.

Wrap your shears real goood with bubble wrap and put them in the bigger box along with the blade box.
We charge $3.00 for this box and it one of the best on the market and it will hold together for quite a long time. We can return your blades in the box, just tell us you need one. Just $3.00 !!
